Mike Green with some great quotes saying all the right things from a guy who knows he's the best trade piece a selling team has. He has some control over what happens to him with the NTC, but nobody has the feeling he'll block a move to a contender if asked.

"I kind of just go about my process and when there's decisions to be made on both sides, obviously, I'll come to it," Green said. "I love it in Detroit. I'm enjoying my time playing there right now. I can't do any more than that. There's a lot of uncertainty. Hopefully I stay."

The NHL jumping aboard the next hot bandwagon is a pretty easy, smart decision to make that shouldn't expose them to a lot of risk while adding some good growth potential to their #brand. I don't know if I'm ever going to care much about people playing NHL video games, but I have watched and enjoyed e-sports. I'll give this a go if they do it right.
