Well, there’s not much to talk about. We’re all still dealing with the sadness of being eliminated from NHL Stanley Cup Playoff contention. It’ll take some time, but there’s a lot to love from the regular season that was. We’ll cover that in a later article. Let’s focus on something else, shall we? Looking ahead to the NHL Draft
Detroit won’t have a shot at 1st overall and will likely pick near the middle of the pack. No glut of picks like in years past, just eight picks with two in the 7th round. Are there any prospects in this draft class you’ve got your eye on that could realistically be there for the Wings?

Jack Edwards retiring after this season
I’ve always appreciated Edwards for what he is — an entertaining cheerleader for the Boston Bruins. Most hated him, but I enjoyed listening to his calls more often than not. I’ll never forget when he sang a Christmas carol during a fight:
