Krupa: Red Wings need to think ahead; ‘the process’ isn’t working – The Detroit News
I’m going to let one of Krupa’s sentences speak for this one here

The rebuilding on the fly fashioned by Ken Holland and the rest of his management team beginning six seasons ago after the consecutive retirements of Brian Rafalski and Nicklas Lidstrom has yet to slow the decline of the club’s performance, let alone provide evidence of a turnaround.

Around the League

NHL – Wyshynski’s Weekly Reader – Connor McDavid, Johnny Gaudreau and David Pastrnak among biggest penalty magnets
Why does Connor McDavid draw penalties at a higher rate than his peers? Because his ability to get into scoring position all but forces opposing players to foul him. Plus, the latest on the Seattle expansion front and more Jersey Fouls – Interesting the cutoff used here at 1,000 ES minutes from the start of last season, because Andreas Athanasiou is at about 960 minutes. His penalty differential in that time is +15, which doesn’t get him on the list just yet, but rate-wise, he’s very good at drawing calls.
