Special event nights have been announced for the Red Wings. In addition to numerous giveaways this season, the Wings are celebrating Pride Night on January 31st, Black History Night in February 24th, and Women’s History Night on March 14th. Legendary Buffalo Sabres play-by-play announcer Rick Jeanneret passed away Thursday, August 17, 2023 at the age of 81.
The pride of Buffalo’s announcing team, play-by-play guy Rick Jeanneret, has passed away. While I wasn’t well versed with the Buffalo broadcast team, I understand that he was a legend for that city. All due respects and sympathies to his surviving family, and to his fans.
