State of the Central: Offseason

We’re moving across the league from west-to-east for our divisional previews this week, focusing on the Central Division. The makeup of this division isn’t too dissimilar from the Pacific. It wouldn’t be surprising to see Dallas, Colorado or Minnesota run away with things, and Winnipeg and Nashville are wild cards that could go either way. After that, though, we have potentially three teams that could be in the running for lottery picks.

I have these loosely ranked by how I’d forecast each division right now, but like last week, when I declared that things could be shaken up by the Pius Suter Sweepstakes (won by Vancouver), it’s only a matter of time until the Race for Alex Chiasson turns the Central on its head… Or not, but we could certainly still see some roster tinkering.
