Per NHL rule 46.21, Brady Tkachuk is set to be suspended for 1 game for receiving an instigator penalty in the last 5 minutes of regulation, while Head Coach DJ Smith would receive a $10,000 fine. #GoSensGo will be appealing this ruling, per @SunGarrioch.

Fun fact, this should put Ottawa back at only 20 players for their next game and no room to call extras up in the event of any new minor injury. Also a fun fact, while perilously close to going back to Emergency Roster protocols they’ll be taking on the cross-conference Wild Card hopeful New York Islanders this Thursday.
