I mean, think what you want about the off-ice antics that come with Patrick Kane’s career (at least, the early part of it – and just for those I really would not want him here), but if hip resurfacing turns out to be one of those things guys just struggle to come back after then maybe it’s just time to let the player go enjoy life outside of hockey.

If your league was officiated better and had more consistent and severe punishments for gross infractions, players wouldn’t feel like they need vigilante justice and you probably wouldn’t need fighting in the first place.
