I’m all for not slowing the game down, but I’m also all for getting the call right. Maybe a time limit will give the refs a chance to get the correct call and also eliminate the opportunity for them to overthink things? You get three minutes. Is it goalie interference or not? No need to dissect things to the smallest detail. Was the goalie’s ability to make the save hindered? Yes or no. Make the call and let’s move on.
