Keys to the Game
1. Keep Trying Stuff
Among the things that remain reasons to keep watching has been the tenacity of the Dylan Larkin - Tyler Bertuzzi combination, the aggression by Filip Hronek, and the creativity by Filip Zadina. Continuing to figure out what you can regularly get away with and which kind of gambles are the ones that aren’t worth it is a tough process. Keep working on that learning.
2. Keep Composure
The Wings have talked about and demonstrated a willingness to play rougher and tougher of late. I do like that and want to see that continue. They also need to be aware of where the line is on that and ensure that they’re staying on the right side of it. Being a young group that’s hard to play against and sticks up for each other is good. Being a bunch of petulant goons is bad.
3. Shoot the Damn Puck
More shots more fun!
