Red Wings release 2021 training camp roster, schedule

With training camp practices set to begin Thursday in Traverse City, the Red Wings released the training camp roster and schedule early Wednesday.

The team will bring 35 forwards, 20 defensemen, and seven goalies:

An interesting tidbit: Kirill Tyutyayev will suit up for the Grand Rapids Griffins this season, so it will be nice to get a handle on what kind of player he is.

Other newsworthy headlines going into camp:

You can read more about the NHL’s vaccine and COVID protocols here.

Dylan Larkin won’t be a full-go to start camp according to HSJ:

Due to NHL healthy and safety protocols, the previously-announced Training Camp Golf Classic and Alumni and Celebrity Game have been canceled for 2021
