Key Matchups
Red Wings vs Themselves
Seems like the team has been playing against themselves a lot this season. If they're not starting slow and giving up early goals, they're starting hot only to blow late-game leads. I don't care who is playing in net tonight, this team needs to play better defense. That's the reality if they can't put up five goals each game, which they certainly cannot given how anemic this offense has been. I feel like I say this every time we play New Jersey, but I'll go ahead and keep on saying it: The Red Wings should win this game. No excuses.
