Key Matchups

Red Wings vs Scoring more than one god damn goal

PRETTY SIMPLE, FOLKS. You can’t win games consistently when you score one goal. Teams like Tampa or Florida will eat you alive. Why? Because most NHL teams will. You have more than enough talent to score, now it’s time to put on your big boy skates, and do your fucking job. Can you tell that I am irate? AND it’s the second game back after the All-Star break! Man, this sucks.

Time running out vs The neglect to shake things up

I’m going doom on y’all. I apologize, but the Red Wings are stuck between a rock and a hard spot. If they are to continue their woes on offense, then some things need to change. Not just one thing, multiple things. Power-play personnel, line combinations, defensive pairings… The works. Keep in mind, it’s February. There isn’t that much time left, so if they want to compete with the top dogs, then they need to actually, you know, compete.
