We’re now two full rounds into the playoffs and getting ready to start the Eastern Conference Finals tomorrow.

Thankfully, the Kings took a lot of the mystery out of game seven by curb-stomping the Ducks early and often. Bye Teemu, you big crybaby. We tried to get everybody’s votes in, but some of us have lives and/or bedtimes. Maybe by the time you read this, we’ll have our last person’s predictions in. Greatness waits for no man though, so we’re posting anyway.

Most of us did better in round 2 than we did in round 1. Collectively, we picked 3/4 series and nailed the Rangers in seven prediction. Only round 1 winner Slapshotgoal failed to get at least half of these series right (haha). Meanwhile, I doubled my correct prediction total and now I’m not in dead last [takes off shirt, helicopters it over head, accidentally bolo whips self around neck and dies like that stupid Ewok in Return of the Jedi]

Jeff is the only one to hit all four second round predictions. Bow to him if you want, but the overall leader is Graham now. He’s correctly picked 9 out of 12 series and has even correctly picked the right number of games four times.

Let’s get to predicting the next round, shall we?

There you have it. Habs vs Hawks in the Finals and we all root for a meteor again. Fuck hockey sometimes.
