We are getting ready to record Episode 51 of our NHL podcast “Fer Sure: A 200 Foot Podcast.” If you missed the last episode, you can catch up here.
This episode will be entirely* devoted to the draft.
We have assembled a group of three excellent prospect experts for this one. We had hoped to have all three on at the same time, but trying to find overlap in availability for 5 people with lives can be pretty difficult.
First up, we are going to have Dylan Galloway, the head regional scout for Eastern Canada for Future Considerations alongside Will from the site Scouching. Will does a lot of his work through his Patreon.
We tried very hard to have our third guest on with Dylan and Will, but we weren’t able to make that work. We will, however, have a segment where Jay and I talk to him after the segment with Dylan and Will. If you didn’t guess it from the last mailbag (or from me mentioning it on the last episode), that guest is none other than Dr. Dangles!
We will plan another draft based episode in the future, in order to have all three on together. While there was no way around it, I do feel bad because I was really looking forward to having all three on at the same time.
This episode will be devoted to the entire NHL, not just the Red Wings, since that’s what Fer Sure focuses on. We will, however, have a draft episode of WIIM Radio between now and the draft, which will heavily focus on Detroit.
As a reminder, this isn’t a discussion post, and if people start answering the questions that other people ask, it can be difficult to fish through them when we’re recording. If you are asking a follow up question or something like that, it makes sense, but sometimes in the past, it’s turned into long back and forths.
