Game Day Updates: Wings vs. Canes

The Red Wings have 10 games left in the regular season, and still are vying for that second Wild Card spot. Two points tonight and a Capitals loss would put the Wings back into the playoff picture, but two points won’t be easy to come by against the 45-21-7 Carolina Hurricanes.

Jake Walman is out again tonight, so we expect the lineup to be identical to the last two games — James Reimer will get the start.

UPDATE 7:27 PM ET: Czarnik and Kane are out, apparently with the bug that has been going around the locker room.
