The game against the Oilers thoroughly demonstrated how quickly the wheels can fall off and how little it takes to go from “let’s gooooooo” to “let’s go”. But, we’re leaving that game behind in the McDavid highlight reel archive and moving on.
As you may remember, we just saw the Canucks back in Hockeytown where an OT penalty shot gave Jake Walman another chance to show off his ice-dancing skills much to the delight of everyone who is not deathly allergic to fun. I say, add a batflip next time.
Since we met those few days ago, the Canucks have beaten the Capitals and Blackhawks. And the Red Wings played hockey on Tuesday where nothing interesting or remarkable happened. So both teams are in good shape. Except for Ville Husso, the poor guy, he’s got the injury curse now.
