NHL Playoffs Open Thread: Friday, May 9th
The hockeying continues tonight. After Team USA beat Belarus in Minsk and Canada lost to France, we've got NHL action for you (The Griffins don't play again until tomorrow, but I'm sure you can watch other AHL stuff if you're into that kind of thing).

Unless the Rangers figure out how to solve the puzzle inside of a mystery wrapped in an enigma guarded by wolverines wearing Chinese finger-traps that is Marc-Andre Fleury, we'll see the first team punch its ticket into the conference finals round tonight. Pittsburgh dropped game 1 in this series and then the Rangers spent the next three going sleepy-bye. Rick Nash is having flashbacks to when he was doing nothing for Columbus in the playoffs all those years ago.
On the Central Coast, Minnesota hopes to tie up their series against the Blackhawks after beating them 3-0 on Wednesday. Chicago's probably going to rally around calling that game "adversity" and smoke the Wild, but I continue to root against that happening.
Tonight's non-hockey topic: Would you rather box an ostrich or try to jump over a moving car?
