Bettman said that programming conflicts during the World Cup prevented NBC from winning the rights to it. And, as I mentioned a couple of weeks ago, I do not think that it is a bad thing that ESPN has the chance to air the tournament. I mean, they did a phenomenal job with the FIFA World Cup last summer.
