I am pulling sooooo hard for Lyon. With everything I’ve seen and heard this pre-season, he seems like he’s not really missed a beat while… other goalies… have not had such fantastic showings. Lyon went 11-for-13 last night with a largely NHL-fringe roster in front of him, which I think is a decent mark. I think the back-up battle may actually prove to be between Lyon and Bednar.
