In Red Wings Land
Detroit Red Wings’ Dylan Larkin, and family, chip in with biggest assist of their lives - Detroit Free Press
The apple doesn’t fall far from the tree in the Larkin family, with Dylan seemingly taking his good nature and work ethic from his dad:
Kevin Larkin is the owner and president of Lake Superior Soap Company, a beauty supply wholesaler. He had plenty of gloves that are typically used in hair salons sitting around in his warehouse, and they both saw another way to put them to good use.
”We reached out to Kevin Brown (the Wings’ director of community relations) and he reached out to various hospitals, wanting to know who was in need of them,” Kevin Larkin said.
I guess we could also say Larkin pulls his fighting spirit from his dad as well, considering the head of every soap company I’ve ever known has been into fighting, but we’re not supposed to talk about that.

When we all get to be together again, we will be so grateful for those who helped us to get there. What a joyful day that will be.
