Red Wings Dylan Larkin To Play In 2016 Eastside Elite Hockey League All-Star Game

The Eastside Elite Hockey League will be having a 2016 All-Star game at the Mount Clemens Ice Arena on Saturday July 23rd at 5:30pm. Tickets are $10 and a portion of the proceeds will benefit the Mount Clemens Hockey Club.

“The All-Star Game is going to consist of the top 20 players of the Eastside Elite Summer League.” Pittsburgh Penguins defenseman and league founder Steven Oleksy told Winging It In Motown.

Tickets can be purchased at the Mount Clemens Ice Arena. They can be purchased in hand or reserved and left at the door or by e-mail steven@eastsideelitehockey.com Seating is first come first serve.

“It’s obviously gone crazy the last couple of hours.” Olesky stated about the tickets.

Detroit Red Wings forward Dylan Larkin will be among those playing in the game. Oleksy is also working on possibly adding more Red Wings related players to the game. Other NHL players such as Ottawa Senators goalie Andrew Hammond will be playing in the All-Star Game as well.

Macomb County Sheriff Anthony M. Wickersham will drop the puck to open the festivities on Saturday.

“There will be some raffles and a lot of vendor booths there. Different sponsors will have booths set up where people can check out some products and have some fun with it”

Oleksy wants fans to know there will be an acoustic concert taking place after the All-Star Game by Cooper Anstett, former EEHL player and that there is a capacity to the Ice Arena, which he expects will be reached.

“It should be a really crazy event. I am looking forward to this.” Olesky added.
