Analyzing the pick

Barton has been compared to a young Brent Seabrook, according to NHL Network. I personally have very limited knowledge on Barton, but the film on him looks promising. He’s a right-handed defenseman, one who is considered to be one of the better defensemen coming out of the BCHL this year.

The really interesting part of Seth Barton is that he’s headed to the NCAA next season. He’ll skate with UMass-Lowell, which is a competitive program.
