The Wings welcomed the Avs into town for a preview of the Stadium Series game and pretty badly outplayed the Avs. Naturally this meant going to overtime and then to a shootout. Datsyuk was money, but Mrazek couldn’t hold. Avs win.

- Pavel Datsyuk had a wonderful game and should have gotten four goals.
- Cody McLeod’s favorite flavor is toothpaste and orange juice.
- Rare kind-of-off night for Mrazek in this one. He’s not used to the shot counter being this one-sided. He must’ve gotten bored to death back there. /
