WIIM Radio Featuring Michael Petrella

You may be aware of a post that we had up last week guest-written by @TPLhockey’s Michael Petrella, covering the hockey media coverage in our neck of the woods. If not, go ahead and get acquainted now, because it was kind of a big deal. The discussion on that piece not only here, but over at Detroithockey.net, The Malik Report, and everywhere else it was linked covered a lot of good ground (some better than other).

We’ve got some great news for you: Petrella was able to join us for this weeks’ episode and go over the reason for the post and what’s come out of it since it went up. We cover why media coverage in Detroit is as stale and repetitive as it is and what we as fans should expect. After that, we get into talking about the upcoming seasons and our expectations for the team, as well as whether we think they’ve learned their lesson about giving youth a chance (spoiler: no)

So enjoy the latest episode of WIIM Radio. You can check us out on iTunes (NOTE: it’s a new BlogTalkRadio version of the podcast. You have to subscribe to the new version or else your iTunes will not update with the new episodes.
