The Wings have an early start Saturday at Little Caesars Arena — Hosting the same Buffalo Sabres that beat the crap out of them on Tuesday. To make matters worse, the Sabres are now just a few points from Detroit in the standings.
The Wings haven’t won a game since February 27th. It’s been pitiful performance after pitiful performance, and now all of the ground they gained on previous hot streaks has been flushed down the toilet. Goes without saying, but I’ll say it anyway, if you have any hopes of making the playoffs, you need to win today.
