Have been told by various sources that NHL players are being paid as usual during this “pause.” Players aren’t allowed to practice in team facilities but that is subject to change. NHL and NHLPA discussing lots of aspects to this situation.

Kind of surprised the list is this short, to be honest. However, Jacobs being on it is absolutely no surprise. Unfortunately that has an impact on the Detroit area:
I have been told that @delawarenorth, which oversees the food and beverage employees at LCA and Comerica Park, has told said employees they will *not* assist them during this period of cancellations.
Told them to file for unemployment.
Delaware North is worth $3 billion.

Finally, Jimmy Howard notches his third win of the season, and it couldn’t come against a better team. Surprise goals from Patrick Nemeth and Alex Biega put the Red Wings ahead. A nice confidence-booster for the worst team in the NHL.

So now the simulation not only has Jimmy Howard starting and the Wings putting up 28 SOG AGAIN, but this time it has them winning?
Might just track this whole thing to the end to see if they make Biega a Norris Candidate or something.
